Some generous Masons make news where you live in Mason.
And this is *not* a play on words.
Members of Freemason Lodge 678 began giving away nearly 100 computers away to families with students in Mason City Schools.
Families will also receive memory cards... and a $5 per month internet access package.
The idea came from Mike Mullinger... a member of the Masons
He wanted to make sure all Mason parents could keep up with their children's school progress online.
His fellow Freemasons raised money to buy the computers.
